For years, Mary came faithfully to the mothers-and-toddlers group. She loved the friendship of other moms, but when it came to sharing her faith, she hesitated. She was a follower of Jesus, but doubt whispered that she wasn’t the “type” God could use.
Then she met a disciple-maker. He listened to her concerns, then equipped her with tools to share her own story of meeting Jesus and taught an easy method of gathering as a body of believers from house to house, called 3/3rds.
One day, Mary decided to try. In a conversation with the young moms, she brought up her faith—just a small step, a simple story. To her surprise, several leaned in, curious, asking to meet again to hear more. Soon, they were gathering regularly, following the 3/3rds format, reading God’s Word together.

It wasn’t easy at first, but Mary kept going, trusting God to do what she could not. And then one day, one of the moms asked to be baptized.
From there, the seeds grew quickly. More women began following Jesus, telling their stories to their partners, who in turn began responding to the Gospel. Multiplication had begun—not because Mary had a perfect plan, but because she had said yes. As she watched friends, families, and children encounter Jesus, Mary realized the truth: God can use anyone willing to step out in faith. And what began in a mothers-and-toddlers group had become a movement touching whole households.
