Bertha is a mother of four and a member of the Wayuu people in northern Colombia. A few months ago, she returned to faith in Jesus Christ—and since then, her life has been marked by boldness and joy.

With a heart full of passion, Bertha now walks through her community each evening, sharing the Gospel with neighbors, relatives, and anyone willing to listen. Her two daughters, ages 16 and 12, and her 11-year-old son have already come to faith. Several extended family members and neighbors have also begun to follow Jesus.

Bertha is what disciple-makers call a “person of peace.” She has opened her home as a “house of peace,” a place where others can encounter Christ. Her house has become a gathering point for the community.

At one recent gathering, more than 50 people came to her home to watch a film about Jesus. That night, around 30 people responded to the message and received Christ as Lord and Savior. Through her simple obedience, Bertha is helping bring the Gospel to the Wayuu people. She is a disciple, a mother, and a messenger of peace—one life faithfully multiplying many.
