About
In the last year, God has redirected our call to church plant among the unreached. We thought God was leading us to move overseas, but He has made it clear that the work He is calling us to is in New York City.
Why NYC?
New York City is home to the most diversity in the United States with many having no access to the gospel in their heart language. The Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, and other peoples living there are often those in transition and more open to hearing about Jesus.
775,000 Hindus including 5 distinct people groups living in New York City with limited access to the gospel.
913,000 Muslims including 25 distinct people groups living in New York City with limited access to the gospel.
51,000 Buddhists including 4 distinct people groups living in New York City with limited access to the gospel.
The question God has posed to us after reading these numbers and seeing the need personally is….will you go?
After a couple of vision trips to NYC in 2021, we feel clear on the answer.
The Lord is calling us to go and be a part of mobilizing the Church to go and also to directly engage the people living there.
In the harvest field, we had the joy of staying at an apartment complex with 10,000 Gujarati Indians during our vision trip to NYC. Many of those living there only speak Hindi.
And there are no known Christians living there.
During our short trip, we prayed for healing and shared the gospel with the family pictured above. We also supported the missions team working there as they engage with an English class and children’s program.
The 5 Part Strategy
Our strategy as we go is that of Jesus and the apostles in the book of Acts. We are asking God to:
- Lead us and others to GO into new harvest fields.
- Share the GOSPEL with those living and working there.
- Train disciples to GROW into followers of Jesus.
- Empower those disciples to GATHER as church.
- And GUIDE leaders as they follow the Lord’s leading to take the good news to new harvest fields.
A world awaits Good News
Biglife empowers believers worldwide to reach and disciple their own people for Jesus, so that a disciple making movement (DMM) of God can grow and grow all over the world. We’ve seen these movements of God happen in places where it takes great faith to even be a Christian, let alone share your faith. It can happen anywhere.
All over Asia, Oceana, Africa, Europe and the Americas, Biglife finds the persons of peace and empowers them to share the Good News—where they live. As a Biglife Team Member and a part of an amazing global team, I invite you to join us on this journey!

If you are interested in becoming a “disciple who makes disciples” we provide interactive training to help you to reach and disciple the people around you! There is no cost to you. We can come to you, either virtually or in person, and work around your schedule. Our training is simple, appropriate for all ages and effective for all levels of discipleship experience.
