The United Nations Calls for the Taliban to End Public Executions

A report from the United Nations says Afghanistan’s Taliban rulers are carrying out public executions, stonings, and other types of punishments. The UN calls for the practices to end, saying they violate human rights. Taliban officials argue the penalties are in line with Islamic law and has issued death threats to over Christian 600 families in Afghanistan.
