In February,  the overseer of Nathan’s area came to ask him what his secret was. Nathan took him to a discipleship group. He saw how the disciples worshipped, prayed, read the Bible, and obeyed Jesus. The overseer decided that Nathan should start leadership groups in 30 churches in his area! Nathan believes the Spirit of God provided this opportunity to grow discipleship movements throughout this region!

Brother Michel received a call again to share the Word of God at the women’s central prison. Brother Michel said,“I sensed the Holy Spirit telling me to fast and pray before I go.”

Brother Michel invited three people that he was discipling to come with him. “We would not be preaching, but rather we would be reading together and hearing from the Lord.”

“At the prison, we sensed the Lord telling us to be obedient to the Scriptures. Two inmates placed their faith in Christ. One lady named Beyate confessed to having been a thief. It was a joy to hear how much she hated her sin, but now was so happy! Beyate has been delivered and is now a follower of Jesus!”

The story that you just read is true! However, the actual visitor of the prison was Brother Michel, a follower of Jesus working with Biglife in the DR Congo.
